In 2004 the San Joaquin Valley Psychological Association (SJVPA) established a Charitable Giving Program for non-profit organizations within the community. Each year nonprofit organizations may apply for up to a maximum $2,500.00 in funding from SJVPA. Each organization will be evaluated based on their merit. Organizations applying for the funding through the Charitable Giving Program must hold a non-profit status and be able to demonstrate that status to the SJVPA Board. The organization must function in a way that promotes psychological health of the community.
