The Sullivan Center has an opening for a full time licensed psychologist specializing in the outpatient treatment of children/adolescents and their families. Duties include outpatient therapy involving a wide range of ages, severity of disorders/and socioeconomic characteristics/psychological and psychodiagnostic assessment/consultations with schools and head start programs/program development/training and supervision of interns and post-doctoral students in our APPIC approved training programs. The Center employs a multidisciplinary team approach. The appropriate candidate needs strong sense of initiative and independence while also being able to accept supervision and work as a team member with other psychologists, our psychiatrist, LMFT's, Social Workes, Interns and Post Doc's. Fire Service Psychology Association
The Fire Service Psychology Association is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was developed in effort to bridge the gap between the field of psychology and the fire service.  The organization promotes psychological research in fire psychology, creating cultural competence among mental health providers, as well as educating fire departments about the best ways to support the psychological wellness of firefighters and their families.  Joinging the association demonstrates your commitment to this important cause and allows you to be a part of a growing community of like-minded professionals.

What we do:
Provide continuing education courses to mental health providers, connect firefighters with clinicians trained to address the needs of them and their families, provide training opportunities to departments about fire psychology, conduct psychological research to better understand the needs of firefighters and their families, create a growing community of mental health providers specifically trained in fire psychology.

My new on-line TV series entitled, Doctor, Teach Me to Parent has now commenced on  The program airs live on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month at 10:00am, PST. each program is also replayed on the second and fourth weeks and made available on YouTube.

Sponsorships are now available. Each program will have 4-8 time slots for the display of brief advertisements.  For the support of the program, each sponsor will be given several ads per week for a month.  Two types of sponsorships are available:

PRIMARY SPONSOR: individuals or businesses who support the program for a month at a cost of $100.  The business is clearly identified along with their website and address

SECONDARY SPONSOR: designed for those who desire to sponsor a program for a month at $50. Their ad will be presented only a few times per month

CHARITY SPONSOR: Alternatively, for $100 a sponsor could choose to advocate for and advertise a charity of their choice.
