I work with my patients to attempt to understand the symbolic nature of their thoughts, behaviors, and dreams with the intention of bringing these materials from their unconscious origins into the conscious. By bringing these materials into consciousness the patient is then given the opportunity to transcend their current life circumstances by altering their reactions to their world.
